About Us

The BNT Collection was born from Brad and Teena Boeckmann’s shared belief that some guitars carry more than sound: they carry emotion, memory, and the ability to change people’s lives. Together, they built a collection of instruments chosen not for prestige, but for their ability to tell stories through sound.

At its core, The BNT Collection connects players, makers, and listeners across generations. With Garrett Podgorski guiding the story and music and Anjelo Alonte shaping the visual narrative, the collection becomes a living archive of guitars—bridging stories, cultures, and connections.

What We Do

At the heart of The BNT Collection is a content series that brings these guitars to life. Through conversations, performances, travel stories, and monologues, the series explores not just the sound of each instrument, but its journey—from the hands of luthiers to the musicians who play them.

The series offers listeners a deeper look into the artistry and human connections behind the Collection, inviting them to immerse themselves in the stories and craft that make each guitar unique.

Episode 1: Mike Dawes

We talk creativity, gear, nail care (yes, really), and what he hopes his music brings to the world.

Episode 2: Meet our Founders

The Guitars, The Collection, That Changed Everything

In Episode 2 of The Soundboard Sessions, Brad and Teena Boeckmann share the heartfelt story behind the BnT Collection, a journey that began with a single song and grew into one of the most meaningful rare guitar collections in the world.

What started as a father learning Danny’s Song for his newborn son turned into years of family jam sessions, a tradition that brought their home to life and helped them navigate the highs and lows of parenthood, caregiving, and grief. When Teena lost her father, a classically trained guitarist, music became a way to keep his memory alive. His guitar, Papa, now anchors the collection.

In this episode, Brad and Teena reflect on the power of music to bring people together, and how that same spirit led them to create Malibu Music, a place where community, connection, and creativity can thrive. These guitars didn’t just shape their story — they built a home for stories yet to be told.
